Rick is in Iraq and I miss him very much. If it wasn't for working out of the house grave yard shift... I wouldn't sleep at night. With taking care of my feathered children, work , and all that other stuff to do... I keep myself occupied to pass the time until he comes home.
Rick graduated from high school in 2003 and attended college in Mansfield, PA until he was deployed in January 2005.
I am a very proud Mom. He is a very smart young man. Loves to make people laugh...would cheer you up fast if you were feeling down. I really miss that right now.
He met this wonderful person... in or around 9th grade. They have been very best of friends and just finally hooked up and are engaged. Jessica is the one for him... a wonderful person to be around. He made the right choice when picking my Future-daughter-inlaw. She just recently joined the Army National Guard and will be leaving in August for Basic Training. I'm going to miss her while she's gone.
